Dr. Wallace received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in 1983. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Emory University in 1987 and his fellowship training in Medical Toxicology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997. He is board-certified in Medical Toxicology and Fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology. He has been medically licensed in Virginia, Georgia, Maine, Arizona, and New Hampshire and currently holds an active medical license in Maine.
He has previously held attending physician and faculty positions in the Division of Medical Toxicology at the University of Virginia, Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and Department of Medical Toxicology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, he has been Associate Director at the Center for Environmental Health Sciences at Dartmouth, Director of Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Services at Banner Good Samaritan, and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at University of New England College of Pharmacy.
Since completing his fellowship training in Medical Toxicology in 1997, Dr. Wallace has conducted independent medical evaluations and has served as a forensic consultant and expert witness in matters that pertain to alcohol, drugs, industrial chemicals, and environmental toxin exposure claims.
